Terraced marble quarry in Anatolia at dawn

Anatolia · Est. 25+ years in stone

The mountain,
delivered.

We quarry, cut, grade and ship Anatolian marble — one team, from the first wire cut to the last crate on deck. No brokers, no mystery, no stone we haven't stood on.

Why we exist

Every slab spent forty million years underground. It deserves better than a middleman.

Most marble changes hands five times between the mountain and your floor — and loses its story at every handover. We kept the whole chain: our quarries, our mill, our graders, our port crew. When a block leaves Anatolia with our mark on it, we can tell you which bench it came from and who signed for it.

From bench to building

Follow the stone.

Seven chapters, one block. This is the road every BBC slab travels — photographed, graded and manifested at each step.

01
Worker at a marble quarry bench at golden hour

The Quarry

Benches the size of city blocks. We read the mountain before we cut it.

02
Monolithic marble block being lifted from the quarry face

The Block

Nine hundred tonnes of patience, loosened in a morning.

03
Quarry master chalk-marking a raw marble block

The Selection

Chalk on wet stone. A grade is a promise we sign by hand.

04
Gantry saw cutting a marble block into slabs amid water mist

The Mill

Forty blades, one held breath, a curtain of white water.

05
Craftsman reflected in a freshly polished marble slab

The Polish

The first time in forty million years the stone sees itself.

06
Crane lifting a strapped marble block over a container ship at dusk

The Port

Strapped, manifested, weightless over the deck at dusk.

07
Luxury lobby clad in book-matched marble

The Project

It ends in silence — a floor that outlives all of us.

Where the stone goes

One port, every ocean.

Blocks and slabs leave İzmir every month. These are the lanes we sail most — the first block went to Shanghai in 2016.

The owner

When you call, the owner picks up.

Burak Sakar grew up between quarry benches and loading docks — this is a family business, and he runs it now. He read Chinese law, spent ten years living in Shanghai, and has spent his career making sure a client on any continent never waits for an answer. Ask him about a stone and you'll get the bench it came from; ask him for a price and it includes the boat.
